Meet NFL player Ryan Kerrigan and his big family of tiny bulldogs that he seemed to can’t get enough of. Ryan loved his dogs as much as his kid and he always made sure that they were always part of the family activities because they are family to him. They helped him get through the worst and they never cared whether he won or he lost because to them, he was their same old dad.
And that was why he loved them so much.
Ryan still remembered the day that he and his wife brought a tiny bulldog named Truman home. And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. At the time, he was sadly placed on the injured reserve list and he had to undergo long days of treatments and physical therapies. And Truman was someone he loved to go home to.
Truman was always running around so happy and so friendly that you wouldn’t even think that he was blind. He was also docile and sweet, especially around their daughter Lincoln. And thanks to him, it was easier for Ryan to get through one of the toughest times of his life. And he definitely made Ryan’s personal life better and happier.
That was when he realized that he wanted more than just one tiny bulldog.
After Truman came Kennedy who lived on the streets of China before she was rescued. She had gone through so much in life and Ryan didn’t want to wait if someone would give her a home. So, he adopted her right away. And seeing how much she had grown with them, no one would even imagine that she lived such a horrible life before.
Being a football player was very hard. Ryan had to train all year round and it can be very physically and mentally exhausting. But going home to these nuggets, life just becomes so much better.
