Do you still remember how we all raised our glasses and made a commitment to make 2020 the best year ever? There were fireworks dancing and painting colors from different palettes on the night sky then. We were hopeful. When the clock struck 12, we hugged our families and friends while declaring that 2020’s going to be our year.
And yet, here we are. Stuck at home, clueless about what the future holds for us, and doing everything we can to keep the deadly virus at bay. We’re past the first half of the year, but we haven’t had the chance to make the most out of the first six months. Life was quick to throw one curveball after another; we ended up getting overwhelmed.
Different ways of coping
A lot of people struggled with their mental health because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This gave rise to online yoga and meditation sessions, virtual classes of sorts, and streaming of movies and shows. People also joined different online challenges to keep themselves entertained while dealing with the crisis.
Among the challenges that people made sure to join in was the #VogueChallenge. All eager participants had to do was edit photos of themselves on the cover of the world-renowned fashion magazine. It got everyone’s creative juices flowing: from striking different poses to processing the images on Photoshop so they’d be Vogue-worthy.
The Dogue Challenge
Dog lovers decided to up the ante and edit photos of their pets on the magazine cover. They called the #DogueChallenge. It started with only a handful of dog lovers, but as days passed, the number of participants began to increase. It wasn’t long before the #DogueChallenge became a huge hit!
People were impressed with how the Dogue covers turned out. They couldn’t help but swoon at the adorable poses the pups did for Dogue!
